The Croatian Bar Association is the regulatory body of the legal profession that brings together all attorneys and trainee lawyers in Croatia. The activity of the Croatian Bar Association is regulated by the Legal Profession Act and the Statute of the Croatian Bar Association. The main tasks of the Croatian Bar Association are to protect the rights and interests of the members, to regulate the activity of the attorneys and law trainees, to organize the education of its members, to care and resolve issues regarding status and problems of attorney services, to cooperate with the judicial bodies, to preserve the autonomy and independence of the attorney service.
The Croatian Bar Association is governed on a voluntary basis by lawyers who are elected by the Assembly for a term of three years.
